Personal Life
At birth, he was given the name Francis Gregory Alan Morris and was the son of Francis Williams who was a trumpeter. He expressed interest in acting as he got older so he participated in plays when he was in school. Later, he met Leona Keyes and started a relationship with her. In 1956, he married her and together, they birthed three children.
Career
His career in acting began in the 1960’s starting with “The Alfred Hitchcock Hour” in 1963 where he played the role of The Intern in an episode. In 1963, Morris was cast as Lt Woodard in “The Twilight Zone” and as Mr. Peters in “The Dick Van Dyke Show”.
The American was featured in “The Six Million Dollar Man” in 1974 and played the role of Josh. Other shows he has been in include “The Streets of San Francisco” and “Roots: The Next Generations”.
Cause of Death
He was informed later in his life that he had a brain tumor and had lung cancer as well, which was devastating news for him. In 1996, however, the disease claimed his life.
