“Tarzan and the Mermaids” Career
He made his screen debut in 1938 in "Ahora Seremos Felices," a Cuban film that starred his sister Pituka de Foronda. For his Hollywood debut, he had to wait nine years before appearing in the 1948 movie "Tarzan and the Mermaids." In the adventure film, which was directed by Robert Florey, the actor was part of a cast that included Andrea Palma, George Zucco and Johnny Weissmuller.
He appeared in other works, including: "La Reina del Mambo", "Alexander the Great," and "Julius Caesar Against The Pirates”. No creo en los Hombres”, “Esmeralda”, “Triunfo del Amor”, and "Abismo de pasion” are just a few of his telenovela credits.
