Career
In 1960, Harper Lee had her famous piece of literature To Kill a Mockingbird published. It was quickly loved by many and received the esteemed Pulitzer Prize. Lee based To Kill a Mockingbird off of people she knew and racism she experienced growing up in Alabama. This is the only book by Harper Lee had published for a long time. Recently, Lee's publishers released another book titled Go Set a Watchman that was marketed as a sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird.
