Before he debuted on Broadway, Harry Tierney was already an accomplished composer. He wrote songs for the likes of Ziegfeld Follies. He went on tours around the U.S. performing as a concert pianist. He later composed scores for a number of Broadway productions such as “The Broadway Whirl”, “Kid boys” and “Follow Me”. He collaborated on music projects with lyricist Joe McCarthy, songwriter Benny Ryan, among others.
