Hayley Westenra began her professional singing career at the age of 12 years when she stepped into a studio to prepare a demo album. Her project was successful and was later signed by Universal Records in New Zealand. This partnership helped her to issue an eponymous studio album in 2001.
Since then, the singer has released many hit albums including “Treasure” and “Pure”. Aside from English, she has also performed in many languages such as Japanese, Spanish, and Standard Mandarin Chinese.
Private Life
She is one of the children of Jill and Gerald Westenra. Her siblings are simply called Isaac and Sophie. In 2013, she married a gentleman named Arnaud Sabard.
