He was born to Clovis Salvador and Antoine Paterne and he had three siblings.
Career Highlight
When he began his career, Henri Salvador performed as a guitarist to other musicians. His first album, which was released in 1955, was titled “Henri Salvador chante ses derniers succes”. He went ahead to release other great albums which included “Chante par Henri Salvador”, “Le travail c’est la sante” “Chante Boris Vian” and “Ma chère et Tendre”, with most of his songs written by the French writer Boris Vian.
The French singer was widely recognized as a result of his release of the following songs: “Bonjour Sourire”, “Zorro est arrive”, “J’aime tes g’nous” and “Monsieur Boum Boum”.
Death
He died as a result of an aneurysm.

He received the honor of the French National Order of Merit.
