Henry Ian Cusick is a Peruvian-born Scottish actor who gained international stardom starring as Desmond Hume on the hit television series Lost . He gained more worldwide recognition for his portrayal of the characters Stephen Finch on the TV series Scandal and Marcus Kane on the TV series The 100. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in numerous films such as 2007's Hitman and 2013's Not Another Happy Ending. He played Jesus in the 2003 film The Gospel of John.

He was born to Esperanza Chávez and Henry Joseph Cusick. His marriage to Annie Cusick Wood produced three children between 1994 and 2000.
Trivia
In 2009, a former ABC Entertainment female employee sued him for sexual harassment. He settled the sexual harassment suit that same year with the woman.
