Herschel was an All-American honoured football star, and multiple sport athlete who is now retired.
Career
Most famous for playing running back for the University of Georgia, where he was awarded All-American honors three times, and was the first freshman in NCAA history to be awarded the All-American first team status.
Herschel went on to be recruited into the NFL, signed by a series of teams over his top flight career the largest of which including, The Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. In 1999 Herschel was added to the American College Football Hall of Fame, and is widely considered one of the best running backs in the sports history.
