Hoda Kotb is an Egyptian American TV host and television news anchor who gained prominence co-hosting NBC's popular show Today (also known as The Today Show). She is also known for being a correspondent for NBC's newsmagazine/reality legal show Dateline NBC.
Personal Life
She was born to Sameha and A.K. Kotb. She got married to Burzis Kanga in 2005. The marriage produced no children and ended in divorce in 2007.
Achievements
In 2010, she won a Daytime Emmy Award as a member of the Today Show team.
Trivia
She won a battle with breast cancer in 2007. According to her, she had to undergo an eight-hour surgery, which included a mastectomy and a reconstructive surgery, in order to overcome the breast cancer and be normal again.
