About Ian Brown
Brown is a renowned English musician who mostly performed as the lead singer of the group called The Stone Roses. During his time with the band, he worked alongside some prominent musicians like John Squire, Mani, Reni, and Simon Wolstencroft. The group is noted for spearheading the Madchester movement between the 1980s and 1990s.
After having recorded several successes with the collective, he continued as a solo performer after the disbandment of the group in 1996. He has released not less than seven studio albums.
Family Life
Ian's father was called George Brown, while his mother Jeane Brown worked as a receptionist. He was married to photographer and model, Fabiola Brown between 1999 and 2011. His children include Emilio, Casey and Frankie Brown.
Achievements
In 2002, his single titled "Whispers" earned him the "Best Single" prize at the Muso Awards. He also received the "Best Solo Artist" at the NME Awards that same year.
Ian picked up the "Godlike Genius Award" at the 2006 NME Awards, and received the "Legend Award" at the 2007 Q Awards.
