Ilka Bessin is a renowned German comedian and actress. She gained prominence with her personal comedy show titled Cindy aus Marzahn. She ventured into comedy in 1999 with performances on a cruise liner after leaving her job in the food service industry. Five years later, she participated in and won the stand-up comedy show, Quatsch Comedy Club which happened to be in its final season. This marked the beginning of her prominence in the German comic industry. Her Cindy character, known for its outrageous makeup and pink tracksuit, has attracted fans from Switzerland and Austria as well.
