About Ivan L. Moody
American singer and songwriter Ivan L. Moody started pursuing music professionally in the early 2000s. He first performed in a band called Toiz shortly after moving to Los Angeles in 2001. He later gained mainstream attention as a vocalist for the metal band Motograter, for which he also helped release their debut eponymous album in 2003. He has since become famous as the lead vocalist for Five Finger Death Punch (FFDP), a heavy metal band.
Family Life
His birth name was Ivan Lewis Greening. He was raised in the Denver area, Colorado. In 1998, he welcomed a daughter.
Achievements
The now-defunct American music magazine “Hit Parader” named Motograter the “Best Band of 2003”, when Moody was still a member. Moody and his FFDP bandmates were named the “Best New Band” at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2009.
