The Paraguayan footballer played as a full-back for the Asunción-based club Libertad. He also played for major clubs such as Newell’s Old Boys and Udinese.
Early Life
Born in 1989, the Itauguá native caught the attention of scouts as a player in the Paraguayan football club, Club Cerro Porteño. The Brazilian club, São Paulo FC eventually signed him to a loan contract from Uruguay’s Deportivo Maldonado.
Career
In 2012, he was transferred on loan to A.S. Roma for €700,000. He made 29 appearances with the club between 2013 and 2014. From 2016 to 2018, he played on the side of the Mexican football club Monterey, where he appeared in 31 matches.
Honors
He was part of the Paraguay side that competed at the 2011 Copa América and won a silver medal.
