Abrams created or co-created several acclaimed TV shows which include the spy-action Alias, the supernatural sci-fi drama Lost, the drama series Felicity, and the sci-fi series Fringe.
Abrams got his first chance as a film director in the blockbuster Mission: Impossible III (2006). However, to most fans (especially the more geeky ones), Abrams is popularly known for being the man behind the sci-fi films Star Trek (2009) and its sequel Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), as well as Super 8 (2011) and the first film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).
