Ronald Jack Pennick is recognized as the star of the 1927 American silent melodrama “The Lone Eagle”. He was also best known for his roles in the films "The Mighty" (1929) and "Tip-Off Girls" (1938).
Early Life
The actor was born to Albert R. and Bessie (Murray) Pennick. He started out his life by joining the United States Marine Corps, where he served during World War I. He discovered acting after his discharge from the military and achieved great success after he heeded the call.
Career
Pennick made his professional debut in the movie "The Blue Eagle" in 1962. The talent he exhibited in the role of a ship's crewman had him being called for other acting jobs. He appeared in more than 140 movies in his career and also starred in some popular productions such as "The Black Watch" in 1929, "Paramount on Parade” in 1930, "The Horse Soldiers" in 1959, and "How the West Was Won" in 1962.
Personal Life
The actor was married multiple times. His last marriage was to Bessie Monks. All in all, Pennick fathered three children.
