Personal Life
Jake Christopher Delhomme was the son of Marcia Delhomme and Jerry Delhomme who were Cajuns. His father worked as a horse racer and his grandfather took care of horses so he started riding at a very young age. He got married to Keri Melancon in 2000 after dating for a long time. His sports growth started in school when he played for University of Louisiana. He was very talented and in 2006, he made it to the Athletic Hall of Fame of the school.
Career
He started playing for the New Orleans Saints in 1997 and was with them for a few years. In 1998, he played for Amsterdam Admirals before playing for Frankfurt Galaxy in 1999. In the year 2003, he joined the team of Carolina Panthers then went on to join Cleveland Browns. About a year later, he became a part of Houston Texas.
Trivia
He owns and raises horses together with his brother and father after he retired from football. He is believed to have been a pitchman for Bonjangles and als0 worked in the bank.
