About JD McCrary
Jaydon McCrary, best known as JD McCrary, is a versatile American actor, dancer and singer. He is popularly known for portraying the role of Kenny Payne in Tyler Perry’s series titled “The Paynes”. He also earned the voice role of the young Simba in the 2019 movie entitled “The Lion King”.
McCrary made his acting debut in the comedy series, “K.C. Undercover” in the year 2015; he has since appeared in several movies and series such as “I'm Dying Up Here”, “Little” and “Teachers”.
He played Young Michael Jackson in the drama television series named “American Soul”. As a singer he released his debut EP entitled ‘Shine’ in April of the year 2019.

He is the son of Larisa McCrary and James West McCrary. He has a brother identified as Josh McCrary.
