About Jean Arp
Jean Arp began working as a poet after moving to Paris in 1904. After a number of unsuccessful attempts, he decided to study art at Académie Julian. He had his breakthrough in the 1910s when he joined the art group known as Der Blaue Reiter.
His association with the group helped him to participate in many art exhibitions held in the city of Zürich. Throughout his career, the German-French sculptor produced lots of works with the popular ones named “Evocation of a Form: Human, Lunar, Spectral”, “Impish Fruit” and “Cloud-shepherd”.
