Marielle got his start in stage productions and small roles in films. The French actor struggled to find his big break and briefly pursued a career in cabaret before returning to the screens in 1960, appearing in movies like “Weekend at Dunkirk” and “Un monsieur du compagnie.”
In 1987, he played a depressed police officer in “Les mois d’avril sont meurtriers”, one of his best performances. Marielle continued to act in plays and won the Molière award in 1994.
Personal life
Marielle married actress Agathe Natanson in 2003 until his death in 2019.
