"24 Heures de la vie d'un clown", a television series, served as his directorial debut project. The Frenchman made his acting debut in the 1948 French movie "Les Dames du Bois de Boulogne." In addition, he appeared in several movies, including "Amour de Poche," "Breathless," "Orpheus", and "Mimi Pinson".
