Jennifer Nettles is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who achieved mainstream success for being half of the country music collective Sugarland along with Kristian Bush. Following their work in the 1990s, she became well-known, with Sugarland winning three Grammy Awards.
On her own, she has released numerous critically acclaimed solo albums, including "That Girl," "To Celebrate Christmas," "Playing with Fire," and "Always Like New," all of which display her unique blend of earthy country, R&B, and pop genres.
As an actress, Nettles is also known to have landed notable roles in a number of successful films and television series including "The Righteous Gemstones", "Underground", "Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors", and "Harriet".
Family
She was raised together with two siblings, Katie Bryce Ricketson and Seth Ricketson.
She married Todd Van Sickle in 1998 but the couple went their separate ways in 2007. Later she tied the knot with Justin Miller in 2011.
