After winning the boy’s singles event at the Wimbledon Championships in 2005, French tennis star Jeremy Chardy established himself as one of the hottest prospects of his generation. The following year, he turned professional and participated in his maiden Grand Slam, the French Open.
He became a global icon in 2009 when he won an ATP Tour competition held in Stuttgart. Four years later, he reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open as a single player. With Fabrice Martin, they came second at the French Open in 2019.

In 2013, he was named the 25th best tennis player in the world, according to the ATP rankings. As a team player, he was ranked at number 24 the following year.
