“Things Here Are Different” and Other Albums
In 1990, the American singer released her first album titled “Things Here Are Different”. The album was produced by Todd Rundgren and it was released under the MCA record label. The album had the single “Too Cool to Fall in Love”, which reached number 17 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Charts.
She went ahead to release other great albums such as “Jill Sobule” (1995), “Happy Town” (1997), “Underdog Victories” (2004) and “California Years” (2009). With her second album, “Jill Sobule”, it took her five years to record it because she was dismissed from her record label MCA a few years after she released her first album.

Sobule worked with singers like John Doe, Julia Sweeney and Neil Young.
