Jimmy Wopo was the stage name of American rapper Travon DaShawn Frank Smart. He started uploading music on SoundCloud in January 2015. His music began to gain exposure after The Daily Loud, a blog based in Pittsburgh, started promoting his work.
His debut mixtape “Woponese” came out in July 2016. That same year, he garnered widespread national attention with the single titled “Elm Street”. Wopo was also widely known for his affiliation with Wiz Khalifa.
