About Jo Kwon
Before coming into the limelight, Jo Kwon was a trainee of JYP Entertainment for close to ten years. After appearing on Mnet's show titled “Hot Blood” in 2008, he was named the leader of the ballad group called 2AM which shot him to prominence.
That same year, he helped them to release their maiden song which was titled "This Song". By the end of 2014, the group had released four albums which include “Let's Talk”.
Solo career
Aside from the group, the South Korean singer is known for his solo hit singles. His first song came in 2010 which was titled “The Day I Confessed”. That same year, he released perhaps his best song titled "I'm Da One", which was off his debut album of the same name.
Other ventures
He has also made a name for himself as an actor. In 2010, he was cast alongside Kim Kap-soo and Park Mi-sun in the comedy series “All My Love”. He has appeared on other television shows such as “Star King” and “We Got Married”. Kwon has also been featured on the musical titled “Jesus Christ Superstar”

According to him, he doesn’t belong to any gender and sees himself as neutral.

He studied at Kyung Hee University.

As a member of 2AM, he has won many accolades which include Golden Disc Awards, Seoul Music Awards, and Melon Music Awards.
