About Joe Harris
Joseph Malcolm Harris is an American professional basketball shooting guard and small forward who made his debut in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in 2014. He was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2014 NBA draft. He finished all the four seasons, which make up a typical college career, with the Virginia Cavaliers of the University of Virginia. He also featured for the basketball team of his high school, Chelan High. In 2016, he signed with the Brooklyn Nets after his rookie season with the Cavaliers.
Family Life
His father is Joseph Harris Sr., a basketball coach who also coached him during his years at Chelan High. His mother, Alice, is a real estate broker who played softball, volleyball and basketball while growing up. He has an elder sister, Kaiti, and two younger sisters; Jaicee and Mackenzie.
Achievements
He was crowned champion at the 2019 edition of the NBA Three-Point Contest. He was named the Most Valuable Player at the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Basketball tournament in 2014.
