He is also famed for being the co-founder of the National Society of Film Critics. Morgenstern's work has appeared in popular outlets such as The New York Times Magazine and the Columbia Journalism Review. He also co-wrote "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" in 1976. Later, in 1995, he made even a more popular impression by being a review writer for "The Wall Street Journal."
