Aerosmith
The band, Aerosmith, formerly Jam Band, signed with Columbia and released their self-titled debut album, “Aerosmith.” By the late 1970s, they had risen to become a force to be reckoned with in the music space. They held sold-out concerts performing hit singles from their “Toys in the Attic” and “Rocks” albums. Other popular singles include “Same Old Song and Dance,” “Sweet Emotion,” “Walk This Way” and “Last Child.”
The Joe Perry Project
Following Perry’s exit from Aerosmith in 1979, he got straight to work, forming a rock band called The Joe Perry Project. The Project issued their first album “Let the Music Do the Talking.” This was followed by 1981's “I’ve Got the Rock & Rolls Again” and 1983's “Once a Rocker, Always a Rocker.”
Personal Life
He was previously married to long-term girlfriend, Elyssa Jerret. He later fell in love with Billie Paulette Montgomery and married her in 1985.
