Joel is an American musician who primarily sings pop music. He is widely known for being part of the band “Good Charlotte”, serving as the lead vocalist of the ensemble.
He and his brother have partnered as “The Madden Brothers”. They started the band together with their friend in 1995. Owing to the band’s uninspiring outing, they encouraged three people, Aaron Escolopio, Billy Martin and Paul Thomas, to be part of the band, creating the current “Good Charlotte”.
Family
He is the son of Roger Combs and Robin Madden. He is the twin brother of Benji Madden who is also a musician and part of “The Good Charlotte”.
He has two other siblings – Sarah Madden and Josh Madden. He started a relationship with Nicole Richie in 2006 and by 2009, he had two children with her. They couple got married in 2010.
