About Joleon Lescott
Joleon Lescott played in the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth academy before being promoted to its senior team in 2000. Six years later, he joined Everton, for which he made 113 appearances in three years. From 2009 to 2014, he played for Manchester City and followed it up with a one-year stint each with West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa. As an England international, Lescott played for the country’s U17, U18, U20 and U21 teams as well as the senior team (2007-2013).
Family Life
He was raised in Quinton, Birmingham, England. He is the younger brother of footballer, Aaron Lescott. British boxer Brian Rose is his cousin.
Achievements
He was Everton’s “Player of the Season” in 2008. Wolverhampton Wanderers also named him “Player of the Year” for the 2002/03 and 2004/05 seasons.
Trivia
The Lescott Stewart Collection, a fashion line he collaborated on with his brother and footballer Jordan Stewart was launched in April 2012.
