About Jonah Lomu
He was a New Zealand rugby player, who is known to have participated in his debut international game at age 19, making him the first All Black to do so. During his playing days, Jonah Lomu is known to have played the wing position.
His career plays consist of 63 caps and 37 tries. He was able to remarkably impact the rugby sports with his amazing skills.
He was eventually diagnosed with a kidney disorder, known as nephrotic syndrome, in 1995. During the occurrence of this event, his career was put on hold as his kidney function deteriorated. In November of 2015, he died from heart attack – which was triggered by his kidney disease.
Some of the teams he featured for comprise Counties Manukau (1994 - 1999), Hurricanes (2002 - 2003), Cardiff Blues (2005 - 2006), Marseille Vitrolles (2009 - 2010), and more.

His father is Semisi Lomu while his mother is Hepi Lomu. His siblings are identified as Noah, Sela, John and Irene Lomu.
He was married to Tanya Rutter between 1996 and 2000. He was married to Fiona Lomu between 2003 and 2008. He got married to Nadene Quirk in 2011 – a marriage that ended with his death in 2015. He birthed children namely, Brayley and Dhyreille Lomu.
Achievements
Lomu became an inductee of the "International Rugby Hall of Fame” in 2007.
He was inducted into the "IRB Hall of Fame" in 2011.
He honored as the "BBC Overseas Sports Personality of the Year" in 1995.
