About Jonathan Moreira
Jonathan Moreira came through the youth system of Cruzeiro in his native Brazil. He made his professional debut with the club in 2004. He won three Campeonato Mineiro trophies with the side before joining Santos six years later. He helped the team to win the Copa Libertadores, and the Campeonato Paulista in 2011.
Later that year, he moved to Italian outfit Inter Milan. The Brazilian right back has also featured for teams like Athletico Paranaense, and Fluminense.
International Career
Jonathan’s best moment in a Brazilian shirt was at the Under 17 level. He helped his country to win the FIFA U-17 World Championship in 2003.
Achievements
He has won the Copa Sudamericana, and the Copa do Brasil titles with Athletico Paranaense. In 2009, he won the Bola de Prata.
Trivia
During his time in Milan, he played alongside some famous talents like Fredy Guarín, and Rodrigo Palacio.
He has been nicknamed Divine Jonathan (Divino Jonathan).
