About Jonghyun
Jonghyun was a naturally gifted South Korean vocalist who rose to worldwide prominence as a member of the boy band Shinee. When he was alive, he worked as a songwriter, performer, producer, radio program presenter, and author.
He began his musical career as a youngster with S.M. Entertainment and catapulted to stardom when he joined the boy band Shinee in 2008, which was a career-defining moment for the gifted young singer. He debuted his solo project, "Base," after a successful spell with the band. Following the success of the said project on the worldwide stage, he dropped his debut studio album, "She Is," the following year, and followed it up with more important releases such as “Poet | Artist”.

He was born to Lee Eun Kyung and grew up with an older sibling named Kim So-dam.
