Josh Adam Donaldson is an American professional baseball player. He has played in the third baseman position for Major League Baseball (MLB) teams such as the Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Cleveland Indians and the Atlanta Braves. He signed a 4-year contract with the Minnesota Twins in January 2020.
Family Life
He was born to Lisa French and Levon Donaldson, a former construction worker who became a convict when his son was still a child. Levon was imprisoned in 1992 for battery – he was released in 2007.
Achievements
In 2015, he received several achievements and accolades while he was with the Toronto Blue Jays. Notable amongst them are the American League Most Valuable Player, the Hank Aaron Award, and the Silver Slugger Award.
