About Juan Jesus
At age 16, Brazilian soccer player Juan Jesus joined Sport Club Internacional in his native country. He made his senior team appearance in 2010 and helped them to win the Copa Libertadores later that year. His performance attracted interest from many well-known soccer teams across the globe but signed for Italian side Internazionale in 2012.
He spent the 2016/2017 season on loan at A.S. Roma, and made the move permanent the following season. After five successful years at the club, he joined Napoli in an initial loan deal in 2021.
International career
Jesus played for the various youth teams of Brazil before making his senior debut in 2012. At the Under 20 level, he helped his country to win the World Cup in 2011. He was also a member of the Brazilian side that won silver at the Olympic Games in 2012.
Achievements
He won the Recopa Sudamericana, and the Campeonato Gaúcho with Internacional in 2011.
Trivia
His move from Internacional to Inter Milan was said to be around €4 million.
He has played alongside some top soccer players like Diego Milito and Thiago Silva.
