About Jules Bianchi
Jules Bianchi developed a love for racing at an early age but made his professional debut in 2007 as a teenager. He initially joined the SG Formula racing team and participated in the 2007 edition of the French Formula Renault 2.0.
After a number of good performances, he moved to the Formula 3 Euro competition in 2007. His breakthrough came in 2012 when he joined the Formula One series as one of the practice drivers for Sahara Force India. The French driver made his competitive debut the following year as a member of the Marussia racing team.
Family
He was the son of Philippe Bianchi who was a kart track owner and Christine Bianchi. He had two siblings named Mélanie and Tom. His grandfather Mauro Bianchi was one of the top drivers of his generation.
Death
Bianchi had a horrible accident during the 2014 edition of the Japanese Grand Prix which sent him into a coma. He was unable to regain his consciousness and gave up the ghost the following year.
Trivia
Growing up, he idolized German driver Michael Schumacher.
