Early life
The actor lived his youthful days in Berlin and nurtured a passion for acting and performance from childhood. He spent the most time with his brother, Dieter Prochnow.
Acting Career
Prochnow's career set off in 1972 in "The Merchant of Four Seasons". He later appeared in other productions such as "One or the Other of Us" in 1974, "The Lost Honour of Katharina Blum" in 1975, and "The Keep'' in 1983.
The German actor also posed as Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie "See Arnold Run" in 2005. Prochnow also appeared in other popular films such as "Rocky II" in 1979 and "Creed II" in 2018.
Personal Life
Prochnow had numerous relationships in his lifetime. He first married Isabel Goslar from 1982 to 1997. He was married to Birgit Stein from 2004 to 2014. After his second divorce, he married Verena Wengler in 2015. The actor has a total of 3 children as of 2021.
Trivia
He appeared alongside his brother Dieter in the 1990 film “The Man Inside”.
