Jefferson started playing football at Destrehan High School in Louisiana and then he proceeded to Louisiana State University. He was the leading receiver while in college with 875 yards. However, he decided to forgo his senior year to start his career in the NFL.
Career
This Louisiana-born receiver started his career with the Minnesota Vikings, signing a $13.12 million contract for four years but was placed on reserve due to Covid restrictions. He ended the season as Rookie of the Year with a record of the most receiving yards of a rookie.
Jefferson finished the 2021 season with 1,616 receiving yards, becoming the second-best receiver in the NFL and was named into the All-Pro team for the second consecutive time.
