About Kai Hansen
Kai Hansen is a renowned guitarist who’s known to be the founder of the German power metal band, Gamma Ray. He mostly performs in the group as the lead vocalist. He also played a role in the formation of the band known as The Helloween.
He took interest in music at the age of ten when he received his first guitar. This led him to take a classical guitar course to sharpen his skills.
His career officially kicked off in 1978 when he played in the band Gentry alongside Iron Savior. He has recorded dozens of albums, which have generated millions of worldwide sales. Some of his albums are titled "Walls of Jericho" (1985), "Insanity and Genius" (1993), and "Skeletons & Majesties" (2011).
