Kanwer Singh, better known by his alias Humble the Poet, is a Canadian YouTube star, author, spoken-word artist and rapper. He used to be a school teacher but he quit when he made up his mind to focus on poetry and spoken-word as a full-time career.
He started uploading his poetry recordings on his YouTube channel, Humble the Poet, in 2008. He has also authored the books Unlearn: 101 Simple Truths for a Better Life, Unlearn - Beneath the Surface: 101 Honest Truths to Take Life Deeper and Things No One Else Can Teach Us.
Singh has worked with YouTube superstar and comedian Lily Singh, on various projects such as his songs, Leh and Moorni as well as Lily Singh’s documentary, A Trip to Unicorn Island.
