Career
Before starting her modeling and acting careers, Keeley Hawes worked in a casino. Her first acting role was in the TV series Forever Green. Her career started to pick up in the 1990s with roles in Troublemakers, Karaoke and Heartbeat. She is known for starring in film versions of literary works, including Our Mutual Friend and Tipping the Velvet. Hawes is also known for the 1998 Avengers and The Bank Job. She is also involved with voice acting for video games, voicing Lara Croft for several Tomb Raider games.
