About Kevin Randleman
After impressing at the college level, Kevin Randleman was invited by his former trainer Mark Coleman to participate in the highly-rated Universal Vale Tudo Fighting 4 which was held in Brazil. He made his MMA debut in 1996 and went on to win the UVF 4 competition later that year.
He started gaining global attention in 1999 when he participated in his first Ultimate Fighting Championship match. That same year, he became the UFC Heavyweight Champion after defeating Pete Williams.
Moving forward, the American MMA fighter performed under many promotions including Strikeforce, and Pride Fighting Championships.
Aside from mixed martial arts, Randleman was also into professional wrestling. He started his journey in the sport in 2002 under the All Japan Pro Wrestling promotion. He went on to work with other top promotions like Pro Wrestling Zero-One, and Hustle.
He married a lady known as Barbara in 2000, but they went their separate ways five years later. In 2009, he exchanged the marriage vows with Elizabeth Broglia with whom he fathered four children namely Santino, Calvin, Jasmine, and Madolyn.
He was a student of Sandusky High School before attending Ohio State University for his tertiary education.
During his time in college, he won the NCAA Division I Championship two times. He also won the Big Ten Championships on three separate occasions.
He was arrested by the police in 2007 and was charged with a number of offenses which include DUI.
In high school, he played football.
