Kim Taeyeon is a South Korean singer.
Career
Kim Taeyeon started singing at an early age, receiving voice lessons in middle school. After winning the SM Youth Best Competition, Taeyeon joined K-pop group Girls' Generation. While she was in the group, Girl's Generation had several successful singles, including “Gee,” and “Tell Me Your Wish (Genie).” Kim Taeyeon has also had many singles as a solo artist, such as “I Love You,” “Closer,” and “I.” She also made her first album titled I in 2015. Taeyeon also voice-acted in a dubbed version of Despicable Me and its sequel.
