Early Life & Education
Born in Kingsville, Texas, she studied at Texas A&M University. She continued to the Yale School of Drama where she earned an MFA degree in 1987.
Acting Career
In the 1989 film “Gross Anatomy,” she portrayed the character of Nurse Louise. The following year, she appeared as Christine Curren in the cop action comedy “Downtown.”
She co-starred with Oliver Platt, Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal in Edward Zwick’s 2010 comedy-drama film “Love & Other Drugs.”
Kimberly Scott joined the cast of 2006's “World Trade Center” and 2020’s “Respect”. In the former, which was a docudrama disaster film directed by American filmmaker Oliver Stone, she was cast as Sergeant King.
Her other TV credits include “The Practice,” “7th Heaven” and “Time Upon a Once”.

She made the list of nominees of a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award as “Best Featured Actress in a Play” for her role in “Come and Go.”
