Kurt Sutter is a seasoned American screenwriter, producer and director known for producing, directing and writing several episodes of the television series The Shield, in which he also portrayed the character Margos Dezerian. He is also known for creating, writing, directing and producing the popular crime drama television series Sons of Anarchy.
Personal Life
He and actress Katey Sagel got married in 2004. Their first child together, a daughter named Esme Louise was born through a surrogate mother in 2007.
Trivia
Before creating Sons of Anarchy, he spent a great deal of time with a real life outlaw motorcycle club in California in order to get a better understanding of how the typical outlaw motorcycle club operates.
He himself is a keen motorcyclist.
