Lara Dutta is an Indian actress and model famed for winning Miss Intercontinental 1997 and Miss Universe 2000. Her film debut came in the commercially successful and critically acclaimed 2003 film Andaaz, where she played the character Kajal. Her other famous film credits include Masti, Kaal and Chalo Dilli.
Personal Life
In 2011, she married tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi. The couple had their first child in 2012. Prior to her marriage to Mahesh, she dated actor Kelly Dorji for nine years.
Awards
For her performance in Andaaz, she won a Filmfare award and a Star Screen Award. In 2012, she won the FICCI Young Achievers Award.
Trivia
She almost drowned while shooting the 2009 film Blue.
