About Laura Trott
Laura Trott became a national celebrity after her achievements in the 2009 and 2010 editions of the British National Track Championships where she won a couple of junior titles. At age 18, she made her European Track Championships debut and crowned her performance with a gold medal.
The English cyclist, who has mastered a number of track endurance activities such as the omnium and elimination race, became a world champion in 2011 after excelling at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships.
The following year, she participated in her first Olympic Games. By the end of the 2020 Games, which was held in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Trott had won six Olympic awards. She has further participated in some popular competitions like the British National Road Race Championships, and the Commonwealth Games.
Personal Life
She’s the junior sister of former road cyclist Emma Trott. In 2016, she got married to Jason Kenny, also a cyclist. The following year, they welcomed their first child named Albie.
Education
She was a student of Turnford School.
Honors
This cyclist was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2013, and given the Commander medal in 2017.

Growing up, she suffered from asthma.
