About Leonard Maltin
Leonard Maltin is a multiple award-winning American film historian and critic best known for his book titled “Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide”. In his publication, which was released every year between 1969 and 2014, Maltin reviewed loads of movies.
He started his career in 1965, at the age of 15 years, when his first write-up was published in the Classic Images newspaper. Since then, he has contributed to a number of publications such as TV Guide and Variety. He has also worked with organizations like the National Student Film Institute, and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.

His parents are Aaron Isaac Maltin and Jacqueline Gould. He has been married to Alice Tlusty since 1975. The couple have raised a daughter called Jessie.
