About Les Miles
Les Miles is one of the most prominent names in college football. At the beginning of his career, he served as a deputy coach for a number of colleges as well as NFL side, the Dallas Cowboys. In 2001, he was appointed the head coach of Oklahoma State University’s football team known as the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Five years later, he joined the LSU Tigers of Louisiana State University. He won the National Championship with the team in 2007. He also led the team to two Southeastern Conference titles before leaving in 2016. He later coached the Kansas Jayhawks from 2019 to 2020.

The American football trainer is the son of Martha and Bubba Miles. With Kathy, he has a child named Kathryn.
Education
He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1975.
Accolades
In 2011, he won the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year, AFCA FBS Coach of the Year and Walter Camp Coach of the Year.
Trivia
He mostly appeared in a white cap which earned him the moniker "The Hat".
