About Linus Roache
The son of accomplished actors, Linus Roache started out in the industry as a child actor in 1973, playing the role of Peter Barlow as a recurring character in “Coronation Street” until 1975. He went off-screen in 1976 and returned as an adult in 1985. His best-known roles include Michael Cutter in the crime drama television shows “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”; Ralph Wigram in the television film, “The Gathering Storm”; and Ecgberht in “Vikings”.

His mother, Anna Cropper was a stage and television actress. His father, William Roache is known best for his portrayal of Ken Barlow in “Coronation Street” since the show’s first broadcast in 1960. In 2002, he married actress Rosalind Bennett.
